To answer the oft asked question: there are no plans for another round of this tournament. Running an OCT is harder than many people think, far harder than we expected, and we can no longer spare the time to put into running one.
We hope you've had some fun in this tournament, improved your skills and met new friends- if this tournament could help do that, then it was all worth it.

An update
Oh wow. I wasn't expecting this when I first clicked the journal link and now even after a few days of processing all of this, I'm still not entirely sure what to say. It's hard to put into words how truly honored I am by all of this. Sixfold has been such a huge part of my life and I put in everything I had. To see it pay off in this way is flattering beyond words.
I've grown so much as an artist and a writer over the past year and a half and it wouldn't have been possible without this group and the amazing friends that I've made along the way. This was a wonderful opportunity and I am so grateful to have had it in my life. I look at Alex's growth as a character throughout the rounds as a timeline of myself and I'm so happy that I got to share that with you all.
To everyone else who entered this competition: you're all amazing for putting forth the effort that you did and as far as I'm concerned, you're all winners. Congratulations to everyone who shared a passion for storytelling and took the time to share their wonderful creations with this group. And no short of thanks to the people in the final round. You all put forth such amazing work and I am blown away by the other entrants every time I reread them. You all deserve first place.
I could continue rambling about how great yet bittersweet it is to have finally reached the end of this grand journey, but I'll spare you all. Know that I appreciate everything you have all done to make this such a positive experience for me. I can't thank you all enough.
