Faction Cap-Offs

Don't worry, there's isn't any coming in the immediate future, but please be aware of them.

This applies to mainly to CONTESTANTS, but may apply to NPCs:

We want to keep the factions balanced, as it's crucial to the tournament and the plot. Once we notice one or two faction gaining a lot of members, when others are hardly getting any, we may have to have a faction cap off.

What's that?

We'll be ENDING ANY FURTHER APPLICATION INTO THAT FACTION until a) the other factions catch up, or b) meet a quota.

OH NO! Does it just happen like that?!

We will be sure to give at least a 24 hour notice before announcing a faction cap off.

But what if I was already designing a character for that? Or my app was already half done!?

On the journal with the announcement, we will allow this: if you can provide proof of working on your character, and if you are certain you cannot finish it within the 24 hours, we will reserve a spot for you. However, please do not use this as a way to take advantage of us.

Proof does not include:
A description of your character
Your decided team lineup (no art)

Proof DOES include:
Sketches
A screencap of the app in progress
Any WIP of your character and their Pokemon

But remember, the less members in a faction, the better chance you'll have in the competition!

Once round one begins, there will be no further faction cap offs.
